The formal version of our promises
This policy is the contract-voice counterpart to our promises. Same commitments, written in plain language for the people your procurement team hands paper to.

01What data we collect
From the public marketing site, we collect only what you voluntarily submit through the contact form: your name, email, company (optional), role (optional), a short description of the project, and the interest and budget chips you select.
We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, session-replay tools, or any third-party script that observes your behaviour on this site.
02What data we store
For engagements: any files, exports, credentials, or screenshots you provide are stored in a per-client folder inside our own environment for the duration of the engagement plus a short handover window (typically 30 days) unless you request longer or shorter retention.
For the marketing site: contact-form submissions arrive via email; we retain them for as long as we're actively corresponding with you, then archive or delete on request.
03AI processing
We will not send your data — files, exports, credentials, screenshots, or descriptions of your business — to an AI service, large language model, or generative model unless you have explicitly asked us to and named the service.
This is opt-in per engagement and per data type. Silence is not consent. If we ever propose using an AI service to accelerate part of the work, you will see the specific service named, what data would go through it, and how it handles retention — and we will not proceed without your written yes.
04LLM training
Nothing you send us is used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI system — ours, our vendors', or anyone else's. This applies to your data, your documents, your dashboards, your source code, and the natural-language descriptions you send us of your business.
If we adopt an AI vendor internally for our own operational work, we will select vendors whose contracts explicitly prohibit training on customer data, and we will not send customer data to any vendor that does not offer that guarantee.
05Data retention
Client engagement data is retained for the length of the engagement plus a handover window (default: 30 days), then deleted from our environment unless you request otherwise in writing.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@datadrivenintel.com. We will confirm deletion in writing within 5 business days.
06Third parties
The marketing site currently has no third-party analytics, marketing pixels, or trackers. It is deployed as static HTML and served directly.
For engagements, any third-party services used to deliver the work (for example, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or a client-authorised AI service) are named explicitly in the statement of work. We do not add third-party services silently.
07Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or request deletion — at any time, without justification.
- Access: we will list what we hold within 5 business days.
- Correction: we will amend inaccurate data on request.
- Deletion: we will delete on request and confirm in writing.
- Export: we will provide your data in a portable format on request.
08Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active clients by email. Non-material changes (formatting, clarifications) may be made without notice.
09Contact for privacy questions
For any privacy question, deletion request, or clarification, email hello@datadrivenintel.com. We aim to respond within a business day, always as soon as we can.
